Celebrating what God has done in 2022

Ministry Highlights of 2022

  • 153 adults participating in 7 formation courses

  • 48 students participating in 6 student events

  • 20 baptisms over the course of the year, including 2 baptisms that were spontaneous 

  • 14 new members commissioned  

  • 6 babies were born this past year

  • 5 couples coming together in the bonds of marriage in 2022

  • 4 Front-porch parties in the neighborhood

  • 2 Curates completed a year of our curacy program (one extending her year),with a new curate beginning this year.

  • 3 Key new staff members for music, student ministries, and neighborhood engagement

  • 1 much needed sabbatical that renewed our rector and his family

  • And a partridge in a pear tree (remind you of our pub party?)

This only scratches the surface of all of the lives changed, the many new people who call Rez home, all of the stories of new relationships and table groups, and all of the ministry that created space for our lives to encounter God's presence and work. What a year this has been and what a community God is shaping among us. 

Ministry vision of 2023

Becoming a church with deeper roots that allow us to extend our branches of ministry and mission in 3 key ways:

  • Bold investment in children's ministry

  • Engaging our facility and space needs

  • Intentionally developing our lay leaders

We all have an important part to play in the mission of the church. Here are a few key ways that everyone is invited to respond.

Find a place to serve

Everyone matters in our community. Everyone has gifts. Everyone is invited to join us the ministry of service. Put your gifts to work for the sake of others.

 

Prayer

Set up a consistent time to pause and pray for the church. Ask for God’s leading and provision as we set out to accomplish this vision the way God would have it done. Praise God for the generosity of his people in giving and serving, and invite his Kingdom to come in our lives and in our neighborhood.
